Our hosting/CDN provider may process standard request, network, and security metadata to deliver and protect the public site.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit or use the public ScreenKits website, including its app-flow browsing features, screenshot pages, and images (the “Site”). You can contact us at privacy@screenkits.com.

The current Site is a public, account-free browsing experience. This policy describes the Site as it works today. If we add accounts, analytics, payments, or app submissions, we will update this policy before using personal data for those features.

2. Information we handle

Technical request data

When you load the Site, our hosting provider may process your IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information, referring page, and security or routing information.

Information kept on your device

We save your theme, gallery layout, and saved apps in your browser so they remain available on this device when you return.

Saved apps and display preferences are kept in local browser storage and are not associated with a sign-in on the current Site. Search and filter choices appear in the page address so you can return to the same view; the requested URL may be included in hosting request data. Copy controls access your browser’s clipboard only in response to that action.

Published screenshot pages and images are public resources. They may be copied, indexed, or cached by browsers, search engines, hosting/CDN systems, or other services. Screenshots may contain personal information or other sensitive content; please avoid publishing such information and contact us if a privacy review or takedown is needed.

3. Cookies and local storage

ScreenKits does not currently use advertising pixels, third-party analytics, or cross-site behavioral advertising tools. Our hosting/CDN provider may set strictly necessary security cookies to operate or protect the Site. The browser storage intentionally used by the Site holds your theme, gallery layout, and saved apps. Remove a saved app with its bookmark button, or clear site data in your browser to reset these choices.

4. How we use information

Limited technical request information is processed to:

  • deliver the pages and assets you request;
  • protect the Site from abuse, fraud, and security threats;
  • diagnose errors and maintain reliability; and
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

Where European data-protection law applies, relevant processing may be based on our legitimate interests in securely delivering and maintaining the Site. We balance those interests against your rights and limit the information used to what is reasonably necessary.

5. Service providers and sharing

The Site is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare may process limited traffic and network data on our behalf to deliver, secure, and operate the Site. You can review Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy .

We do not currently sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information if required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the Site, or others.

6. Retention and security

We do not currently use the Site to build visitor profiles or operate an analytics database. Your theme, gallery layout, and saved apps remain on your device until you change them or clear site data. Search and filter choices can remain in your browser history as part of the page address.

We do not specify a single retention period for infrastructure request data in this policy. Hosting/CDN and security systems may retain it according to their configurations and applicable policies, including as needed to deliver and protect the Site, investigate incidents, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a portable copy of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

California residents may also have rights to know, correct, or delete personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. ScreenKits does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not discriminate against people who exercise privacy rights.

We may not be able to identify or locate information relating to a request from the details available to us, especially if you do not provide identifying information. We may ask for information needed to verify and respond to your request. To make a request, email us and describe the right you wish to exercise.

8. International transfers

Cloudflare operates a global network, so limited technical information may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States and countries in Europe. The location and safeguards for this processing may depend on the provider’s current operations and applicable law. Cloudflare describes its data practices in its Data Processing Addendum .

9. Children's privacy

The Site is a general design-reference resource and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Site, our providers, or applicable laws change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use personal data, we will provide an additional notice when appropriate.

11. Contact us

Privacy questions or requests

For privacy questions, rights requests, or takedown notices, email privacy@screenkits.com. If a public screenshot or page includes personal information or should no longer be available, include the URL and explain the concern. We will review the request and respond as appropriate; copies or caches controlled by third parties may require separate requests. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
